A person can succeed even in negative circumstances: Prof. Kolaskar

The ‘Orientation Programme’ for all the newly admitted students of the leading and esteemed private university of Kolkata, Neotia University was organized on 18th of August, at the campus. The Vice Chancellor -Prof, A S Kolaskar & leading academician and senior professor were present on that occasion. In his address to the students, Prof. A. S. Kolaskar said emphasizing the importance the orientation programme that such programmes help students to adjust in the new environment. Also he focused and concentrated on various qualities that a student must inculcate in himself in order to be successful in life. He shared a few of his personal experiences with the students and explained how a person can succeed even in negative circumstances. Prof. Kolaskar concluded his address extending his best wishes for the bright future of the students.

The famous academician -Prof Surabhi Banerjee (Ex VC Central University Orissa) said that, it is the time that the students should keep themselves updated of the latest trends and information of the corporate world, in order to prepare them according to the demand of the corporate. He strongly emphasized and advised the students to improve the communication skills as more than 60% of the youth in the country is not employable. In the end of his address, he asked the students to be radical in their thinking and said that they should be the leaders and should not be followers. They should be the trendsetters and should set a benchmark for the society.
The dynamic and capable Dr. Rajeev Verma registrar of the University was present during the programme for the motivation and guidance of the students. All the faculty members and the non-academic staff were present during the programme.
